Small firms make up 99.8% of Florida businesses, some 3.5 million of them (SBA Office of Advocacy, 2025 profile), and in 2025 it led every state in new business applications, with 647,734 (U.S. Census Bureau). That is the real job of a Florida SEO company: not ranking you in "Florida", but in the slice of it where your customers live.
Those slices are uneven. Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach hold about a third of the state's business establishments, the Tampa metro about 14% and the Orlando metro about 12% (Census County Business Patterns, 2023). Google's local results run on proximity, so a law firm in Coral Gables and one in Pensacola are not competing. They play different games, with different review counts, rivals and costs per click.
Then there is language. About 7.1 million Floridians use a language besides English at home, and 73% of them use Spanish (U.S. Census Bureau, ACS 2024). Most agencies publish one English page and call it statewide SEO, leaving a large share of local demand to whoever writes in Spanish.
So we do not sell "Florida SEO" as one campaign. Our region-by-region SEO programs map the regions you serve, the languages your buyers use and the seasons that move demand, then build.
